Jillian has built her career across post-production management and client services, with experience spanning some of Scotland’s most respected broadcasters and facilities. She started her career in the industry with post coordination and senior scheduling roles at BBC Scotland, and completed a secondment at BBC Cymru where she worked across productions including Bargain Hunt, Crimewatch, and her first experience in drama on Doctor Who.

Jillian then went on to hold Facility Manager and Head of Facilities roles at Filtr and Savalas. Having worked to deliver major series including Vigil, Guilt, and Shetland, as Head of Client Services at Blazing Griffin, she brings deep expertise in forward planning, post management, and workflow coordination to everything she does.

Lauren has built a career in post-production spanning more than two decades, with extensive experience across Glasgow and London and a track record of delivering high-profile work across advertising, music, television and film.

She began her career in Glasgow in facility management before moving to London to join MPC as a Post Production Producer. There, she worked closely with leading agencies, brands and creative teams to deliver global campaigns and music videos for clients including John Lewis, M&S and Sony, as well as projects for artists including Adele.

Returning to Glasgow in 2012, Lauren joined Savalas Sound as Post Production Manager, where she played a key role in the delivery of high-end television drama and independent film, managing sound post-production projects from planning through to final delivery.

Lauren re-joined Blazing Griffin in 2025 as Senior Post Manager and has since been appointed Head of Creative Services. In this role, she oversees the Craft teams and supports the continued development of Blazing Griffin’s creative post-production offering.

Charlotte Walsh is a Co-Founder and Head of Post Production at Blazing Griffin, where she leads the company’s award-winning post production division and serves on the executive leadership team. Having helped build the business from its earliest days, she has spent over a decade growing its service offerings as well as overseeing scripted episodic and feature projects, combining creative, technical and operational leadership.

Alongside leading the division, Charlotte has worked as a Post Producer and Co-Producer on a wide range of productions. She is passionate about developing Scotland’s screen industry, building high performing creative teams, and ensuring world-class post production can be delivered from Scotland for both domestic and international clients.

Most recently, Charlotte has led the strategic evolution of Blazing Griffin’s Post division, including the launch of Scotland’s only dedicated DCI-compliant theatrical grading theatre, helping further establish the company as a leading destination for high-end film and television finishing.

Naysun Alae-Carew is Founder, Managing Director and Executive Producer at Blazing Griffin, the Glasgow-based studio he has led since 2015. A storyteller at heart, Naysun started in film and built Blazing Griffin into one of Scotland’s most distinctive creative studios — spanning game development, feature film production, and high-end post-production.

A firm believer that platform comes second to story, he has always seen film, games, and television not as separate industries but as different expressions of the same creative thread.

He is known as producer of Anna and the Apocalypse, which was nominated for Best Feature Film at the 2018 British Academy Scotland Awards. More recently, he has served as executive producer across Blazing Griffin’s film slate, overseeing three acclaimed features in 2025 — James McAvoy’s California Schemin’, Brian Cox’s Glenrothan, and John McPhail’s Grow.

DANNY PAGE is founder of Homefront Productions and Head of Pictures at Blazing Griffin. He was lead producer on CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, James McAvoy’s feature directorial debut, which premiered at TIFF 2025 and was released theatrically in the UK by StudioCanal and in the US by Magenta Light (96% on Rotten Tomatoes). FAITH is his second collaboration with James McAvoy and will premiere at TIFF 2026, with UK release through True Brit. He is also producing FARIDA: THE GIRL WHO BEAT ISIS, based on the acclaimed memoir of a Yazidi woman who survived enslavement by ISIS, currently in pre-production. Previously a development consultant for Endemol and Skydance, Danny brings experience spanning independent cinema and large-scale international production.

Matt Schichter is a Glasgow based, Canadian filmmaker working primarily as a producer and line producer on independent feature films including the James McAvoy/Erin Doherty starring FAITH written and directed by Paul Andrew Williams, the multi-festival award-winning MOTHER FATHER SISTER BROTHER FRANK and James McAvoy’s directorial debut CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’. His next film is called PHOEBE AND THE ROBOT directed by Ted Lasso’s Matt Lipsey.

Alongside producing, Schichter has directed feature documentaries including CFNY: The Spirit of Radio and Write Record Tour. Earlier in his career, he worked as an actor, radio host, music director, and talk show host, interviewing artists and cultural figures across film and music.

Justin has over 15 years of global experience across games, TV, film, telecoms and ecommerce. A former strategy consultant to 35+ companies — from startups to billion-dollar IPOs — he adds sharp commercial insight and a strategic mindset that help shape Blazing Griffin’s growth and vision.

Neil brings over 20 years of industry experience, having worked with top names like Rockstar, Midway, Channel 4 and PlayStation. From mobile titles to AAA console games, he’s led projects of all sizes across development and publishing. At Blazing Griffin, he channels that expertise into studio leadership and creative direction across all of our projects.

Ross is Chief Technology Officer at Blazing Griffin, sitting on the Executive Team and leading Blazing Griffin’s tech innovation and R&D entity. With Blazing Griffin since the beginning, Ross first spent six years as Head of Post, growing the post-production house threefold during his tenure. Drawing on that foundation, he now focuses on the future of production pipelines, exploring new technologies and efficiencies that keep Blazing Griffin at the forefront of the industry.

Harry is a businessman and investor with a track record spanning multiple industries and geographies. Over the course of his career he has founded and operated several businesses and invested in a diverse range of companies. He serves as Non-Executive Director and significant shareholder at Blazing Griffin, bringing broad commercial experience to the board.

Ellis started out in agency-side marketing before moving in-house at Red Bull, working across athlete and event marketing. From there she moved into production, joining VFX studio The Mill as Head of Marketing, before taking a group role at Technicolor leading marketing across film, TV, animation, and games across the Technicolor family of brands (Technicolor, MPC, Mikros, Technicolor Games). Most recently she was Head of Marketing at Room 8 Group, global co-dev partner on titles including Call of Duty, FIFA, and Alan Wake. Ellis joined Blazing Griffin in 2025 and leads brand and marketing for the group across games, pictures, and post-production.

Colin McLeod is a senior media and entertainment executive currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Blazing Griffin. Based in the United Kingdom, he brings decades of operational and commercial leadership across television, digital media, and content businesses.

As COO, Colin oversees business operations and strategic execution, helping drive growth across Blazing Griffin’s production, post-production, and games divisions. He is known for combining deep industry knowledge with practical delivery, supporting creative teams while ensuring strong commercial performance.

Prior to joining Blazing Griffin, Colin held senior leadership roles across the media sector. He served as General Manager, Media UK at The Walt Disney Company, and worked in senior international roles at NBC Universal and Fox Networks as well as the Edinburgh-based fintech-for-media company Recast.
