Our Sound Team Earns Emmy Nomination for The Primrose Railway Children

12th January 2026

We’re delighted to share that The Primrose Railway Children has received a Children’s Emmy nomination for Outstanding Sound Mixing and Sound Editing for a Live Action Program — recognising the exceptional work of our sound team on the project.

Huge congratulations to John Cobban (Re-recording Mixer), Zander Mavor (Dialogue & Pre-mix), and William Aikman (Effects Editor) on this well-deserved recognition.

The film, directed by Julian Kemp and produced by BBC Studios, earned five Children’s & Family Emmy nominations in total and is also nominated for Best Children’s Programme at the 2026 Broadcast Awards.

John Cobban, Re-recording Mixer at Blazing Griffin, said: “It was fantastic working on The Primrose Railway Children and being part of the team that brought such a beloved story to life. The team did an incredible job of bringing the story’s themes of mystery and adventure to life through sound. Collaborating with Director Julian Kemp was a real privilege, and we’re all excited to see the project get the recognition it deserves.”
