Blazing Griffin Post Welcomes New Additions to Sound Team

Blazing Griffin Post is delighted to announce the addition of two highly skilled professionals to our esteemed sound team in Glasgow. Joining the ranks is William Cory, a seasoned Dubbing Mixer renowned for his extensive experience across factual, entertainment, drama, and comedy. William’s impressive portfolio includes a rich tapestry of projects, from thought-provoking documentaries like ‘Lucy Worsley: Elizabeth I’s Battle for God’s Music’ and ‘Can We Still Save the Planet,’ to captivating entertainment formats such as ‘Money for Nothing.’ He has also left his indelible mark on gripping drama series like ‘The Replacement’ and ‘Murder,’ and brought laughter to our screens through comedies like ‘Two Doors Down’ and ‘Fried.’ William’s exceptional versatility, straightforward approach, technical expertise, and knack for seamlessly adapting to various genres has established him as a master of his craft. William is already working on a number of projects with the team, and has also contributed his expertise to numerous recent ADR recordings for major dramas for the BBC, Netflix and others.

Alongside William, Scott Paterson joins as Sound Assistant, adding even more depth to the dynamic team. A respected Glasgow musician and producer, Scott has played with various prestigious bands through the 2010s and has been producing and writing for other artists. He brings with him a wealth of technical knowledge and his unique musical background equips him with a finely-tuned ear for nuances in sound, making him a valuable asset when it comes to shaping and enhancing the auditory landscape of our projects.

Alongside these accomplished professionals are established members John Cobban and Zander Mavor. With over 25 years of experience, John Cobban has made significant contributions as a Sound Designer and Re-Recording Mixer to acclaimed dramas, documentaries and feature films. His notable projects include dramas ‘Karen Pirie’, ‘Mayflies’ and ‘Six Four’, award-winning feature documentaries ‘Killing Escobar’ and ‘My Old School’, and factual series ‘Three Mothers, Two Babies, and a Scandal’ for Amazon. Zander, a skilled and passionate dialogue editor and dubbing mixer, brings versatility and artistry that spans various genres. His dedication to the arts infuses and elevates all of his work, consistently delivering top-tier sound design and quality, making him an invaluable asset to any project.
