Update Notes

  • Revamped Erebus mission.
  • Added mines to Erebus level.
  • Adjusted when fleets spawn in on Erebus platform.
  • Escort3 missions have been changed into Escort1.
  • Skill sockets now flash when they have been unlocked.
  • All AI now has a delay between checks for activation which is a range editable by design.
  • Adjusted random ranges on ‘use attachment’ timers for AI.
  • Loot items are now automatically scrapped if the fleet browser is closed without using them (popup warning is displayed)
  • Overhaul of ship thruster system. All ships moved over to use new system, which does not interfere with particle vfx appearance.
  • The credits amount on the shop item will now be either green or red depending on whether the player has enough credits to purchase the item or not.
  • Additionally altered the purchase confirm and replace confirm dialogues so that they no longer rely on the the + or – symbols.
  • Added two new shops.
  • Energy modifiers now apply a fixed increase/decrease rather than a multiplier.
  • Added SelfHullRepairAI.
  • Added SelfShieldRepairAI.
  • Updated system attachments to use new AI.
  • Updated sustained damage pulse AI to prioritise certain ships.
  • Force targeting now has super awesome damage mitigation.
  • Disengage now also increases ships speed.
  • Updated Target Painter Icon.
  • Defend 1 objective should now appear on Medium Map 2 and Medium Map 3.
  • Updated descriptions for ships.
  • Added Target Painter prefab.
  • Escape button now has the correct sprite on it.
  • Fixed the tooltip alignment on the Supply icon.
  • Storm attachments will now not become available again until the previous storm has died out.
  • Core weapons are now always just called ‘Weapons’ in any player-facing text.
  • Reduced the delay on the XP in the battle report to 0.5s and the time it takes to alpha in to 0.25s
  • Removed disabled shields from ships that didn’t have shields.
  • Moved the position of command ship in start mission so that all Akari NPC focus on it.
  • All ships can now display a tooltip if they have a description set on them and the ‘showHUDTooltip’ flag is set on the Ship script.
  • Added tooltip to the orbital platform.

Balancing

  • Adjusted the Valiant’s weapon setup. Now has Multi Beam I, Siege Missiles I x2 and BF Torpedo I
  • Added another 60 seconds to the Erebus Battle.
  • Removed lurker fleets from Hunt missions.
  • Increased the lateral drag of ships.
  • Reduced the damage reduction of orbital defence platform’s hull from 50% to 20%
  • Reduced the hull of mines from 20 to 10.
  • Increase the hull of drones from 2.5 to 4.
  • Reduced the damage per shot of bullet drones from 1 to 0.5.
  • Drones now do x3 damage in focus fire areas.
  • Significantly reduced the DPS of Automatons.
  • Ambush fleets at the start of missions now engage the player and follow them.
  • Chances of ships becoming destroyed on death has been changed. 1-3 criticals: 0%, 4 criticals: 20%, 5 criticals: 40%, 6 criticals: 60%, 7 criticals: 80%, 8 criticals: 100%
  • Increased the number of trigger boxes on each map to reduce chances of empty missions.
  • Increased the speed that enemy ships will patrol towards the player.
  • A squad of 4 Orthani Automatons can now spawn in place of a Gunship or Rogue.
  • Reduced Akari drone damage by 50%.
  • Reduced missile drone damage multiplier from x4 to x3.5 in drone focus fire areas.
  • Drone launchers now launch drones every 2 seconds, up from 1 second.
  • All large structures have had their health reduced by 20%.

Bug Fixing

  • Escort 1 Map 6 – Cargo ship no longer spawns in the environment
  • Loot Items now scrap properly.
  • Fix for ShipFollowStatusBars script.
  • Fixed the tooltips offset on the Credits and Supply icons on the battlefield UI.
  • Orthani Automatons should no longer spawn on top of each other.
  • Fixing fleet prefabs.
  • Fixed issue where Orthani Automatons were not spawning.
  • No enemies may appear on Capture 1 missions on Map 8 – removed close objectives to reduce chances of occurring.
  • No enemies may appear on Capture 1 missions on Medium Map 2 – Removed the close spawn so this will occur less often.
  • Fixed user reported issue – SpeedMaxCritical has incorrect icon in fleet browser.
  • Fixed anchoring and scaling of the No Supply Warning on the Map Scene.
  • Corrected Missile drone launcher and bullet drone launcher tooltip to give correct number of drones.
  • Spider Missile should now have the correct icon.
